I was mainly responsible for recreating and dressing the shoreline of the camp in Unreal from aerial photos and scans for the purpose of virtual scouting. This included the house and porch where Percy meets Mr. D and the circular pavilion, which was shot in the volume.
We were given a location scan of the area immediately surrounding where the house would be located, which needed to be cleaned up and textured, and the rest of the shoreline was recreated manually based on photos.
I also was one of the artists tasked with set dressing the forest surrounding the Satyr Council.
Note: these assets were later sent to ILM's content team to recreate the final, volume-ready sets.
